Because of the three years impact of the epidemic, the global economic environment is still full of challenges. Last year, turbulence in world politics, geopolitical tensions, and waves of covid epidemics also cast a shadow on the economy. Together with the central bank raised interest rates sharply, and the high inflation in major advanced economies and continuous monetary policy tightening further depressed the financial conditions. Bloomberg economists predicted the global economy will slow down in 2023 compared to last year, and GDP will grow only by 2.4%, which is lower than the 3.2% in 2022. The report of the United Nations also shows that there will be a slowdown in the growth rate of global exports of goods and services. This reflects that the uncertain factors increase the economic downside risk. 

Nevertheless, the market is still optimistic about the economic outlook. There are clear signs of economic activity recovery. Countries are lifting the epidemic restrictions and reopening business travel. Together with the joint effort of all walks of life to let everyone's living return to normal. The global economy is expected to go back to the pre-pandemic trend.

The new corporate identity will be adopted across businesses in 19 markets worldwide, marking another milestone for Hantec Group. Also, the Group is constantly expanding its business and global presence. In addition to the new branch established in Santiago, Chile in South America, the next phase of growth will also focus on Africa and Southeast Asian markets under the Hantec Financial brand. 

Hantec Group continues to adhere to corporate social responsibility. In 2022, The Group actively participated in different types of social activities to return benefits to society. We have donated down jackets to 250 students in WanjiaZhen Central Elementary School, Dazhou District, to withstand the cold. Hantec Group also cooperated with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. The volunteer activities at the New Life Interactive Farm allow our colleagues to strengthen their understanding of mental rehabilitation through personal contact and to promote nature conservation and community integration. In addition, the volunteer team from Hantec (Yangzhou) water supply company visited the Elderly home in Daqiao Town with the donated supplies and materials. They also visited 15 needy families in Xingxing Village, Daqiao Town to send them our New Year blessings and care.
