1. Business Development & Promotion

Aligning with Hantec Group’s global development and mindset, we have updated our corporate identity. In addition to our development in Santiago, Chile, we also focus on Southeast Asian markets, with a pipeline of business developments in Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia under the Hantec Financial brand.

♦ Hantec Group unveiled a global rebranding campaign and renewed growth strategy to direct the Group’s next phase of dynamic development. The rebranding exercise includes our new corporate logo which will be adopted across businesses in 19 markets worldwide. 

♦ The new office of Hantec Group in London officially opened. We will continue to improve our service quality to meet the needs of the global market and the new generation of customers.

♦ Mr. Patrick Law, the General Manager of Hantec Group, was re-elected to the 48th Board of Executive Committees of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchanges, responsible for the continuous promotion of the development of the bullion and financial services industry in Hong Kong.

♦ Tsi Ya Chai, a gallery owned by Hantec Group, has moved to a new location at Wing Sing Commercial Centre in Sheung Wan. It will continue to engage in modern Chinese painting and calligraphy and offers a more spacious exhibition hall for all lovers of culture and art to promote artistic and cultural exchanges. It also provides Chinese and foreign books for sale.

2. Corporate Social Responsibility

Hantec Group has always been enthusiastic about public welfare and has participated in many charity activities and poverty alleviation work.

♦ The voluntary team of Hantec (Yangzhou) Water Supply Company Limited brought some supplies to an elderly home in Daqiao Town, sending New Year's greetings to the local elderly.

♦ The team of Hantec (Yangzhou) Water Supply Company Limited visited the 15 poor households in Xingxing Village, Daqiao Town, Jiangdu, and sent them New Year's blessings.

♦ The Minister of Jiangdu District Committee, United Front Work Department and other leaders conducted research and guidance in Hantec (Yangzhou) Water Supply Company Limited. He praised Mr Tang Yu Lap, the Founder of Hantec Group for his charitable act of investing in people's livelihood and benefiting society.

♦ Hantec Group donated down jackets to about 250 students at Central Primary School in Wanjia Town, Dachuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, so that they can withstand the cold and feel the love of the society.  

♦ Ms. Connie Ng, Director of Hantec Group received a certificate of appreciation from the Hong Kong Chinese Reform Association to appreciate her enthusiastic donation and contribution to the establishment of a new venue to support them in continuing to serve the public and promote various welfare.

♦ Hantec Group cooperated with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association for the first time and arranged to visit the New Life Interactive Farm and conduct volunteer activities. We hope to enhance the understanding and acceptance of people in recovery from mental illness and to promote the concept of environmental protection and mental health for our colleagues through the activities. Moreover, the event enables them to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

4. Employee Activity

Hantec Group always adheres to being "people-oriented", cares about staff wellness, and is greatly attached to their personal development and the long-term goal of Hantec.

♦ We delivered red packets to share joy and blessings with the employee, which is also one of the traditional customs of Hantec Group in the lunar new year.   

♦ We also arranged a birthday party to celebrate with the birthday stars of the month.

♦ Colleagues of Hantec Group attended the 25th-anniversary dinner of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute and communicated with other affiliates in the industry actively.

♦ We presented the Long Service Award to recognize colleagues who have served the company with dedication over the years.

♦ Dr. Gordon Tsui, the former Chairman of Hantec Group was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in recognition of his long-term service to the community and his achievements in promoting quality education in Hong Kong.

Tsi Ya Chai, a gallery owned by Hantec Group provides opportunities for cultural and arts exchange to promote Chinese arts & culture.  

Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition

♦ 《壬寅新歲近代名家書畫展》：In order to celebrate the new year, Hantec Group and Tsi Ya Chai co-organized the exhibition with the theme of "Tiger", bringing the first calligraphy and painting exhibition in the Year of the Tiger.

♦ 【慶祝香港回歸25周年】香港書畫名家藏品展：To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hantec Group and Tsi Ya Chai jointly organized the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of Famous Hong Kong Artists. In the exhibition, some of the works capture the city scene of Hong Kong in different periods. They contain a strong feeling of localization and record the memories shared by the Hong Kong People. Meanwhile, the public can witness the developmental history of Hong Kong ink painting through the exhibition.

♦ 《敬雙武作品展》：Tsi Ya Chai organized an exhibition of traditional Chinese paintings by Mr. Jing Shuangwu, a young painter from Sichuan with the “Panda”, Chinese National Treasure as the main theme, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover.

♦ 《歐豪年 林伯墀作品聯展》：It was exhibited with Chinese paintings by two current overseas representatives of the Lingnan School of Painting.

♦ 《沈寶昌個人書法展》：Mr. Shen's calligraphy works were exhibited. His works reflect his profound attainments in the art of calligraphy.

♦ 《精彩人生．藝術大師盧巨川鋼筆畫展》：Exhibiting multiple fountain pen paintings by the art master --- Mr. Lu Juchuan, most of which are themed on the scenery of Hong Kong. Through the exhibition, you can feel the strong local culture in Hong Kong and the precious memories of the times. 

New Book Sharing Conference & Photography Exhibition

♦ Mr. Tang Yu Lap, the Founder of Hantec Group held a new book-sharing conference of《謎一樣的國家：老玩童探索以色列》through Facebook Live on Channel One. He shared the special culture, life and experience of Israel in person.

♦ Mr. Tang organized a new book signing session of《旅遊記疫: 老玩童深度遊瑞士》, sharing his experience of visiting cities, small towns, rivers and lakes, snow mountains and glaciers in Switzerland. It allows readers to follow Mr. Tang's footsteps to embrace nature and feel the paradise-like mountains and rivers.

♦ Mr. Tang organized the《聖潔的西藏》巡迴攝影展 in Sydney, Dubai and Hong Kong respectively. The photography exhibition exhibits a number of photos taken by Mr. Tang of the scenery along National Highway 318, "the most beautiful landscape in China". The photos show the mysterious and holy beauty that he saw in Tibet in 20 days and share them with the audience.
