Taipei 101 is the tallest skyscrapers in the world (from 2004 to 2010), and our Hantec Securities Consultant Limited was also located here previously. (It is currently located in Nangang, Taipei.)

Taipei 101

Taipei 101 is the first skyscraper in the world that exceed 500 meters. And it located in Xinyi District is a comprehensive commercial area that combines finance, business, leisure, and shopping altogether. 

The 101-building started building in September 1999 and was completed on December 31, 2004. Originally named Taipei World Financial Center, it was changed to its current name in 2003. 

In 101, there is a Starbucks coffee shop located in the sky lounge. Just next to our previous Taipei office on the 35th floor! Many of our colleagues will enjoy a cup of coffee there. The public cannot just go there without booking one day in advance. 

The observation point on the 89th floor is something you cannot miss. It presents a bird’s-eye view of Taipei city. The buildings, cars, and people; everything look like a miniature model. What an interesting experience! 

We always eat at “Ding Tai Fung”, in case we got any celebrations, e.g., the staff promotion It is just a minute’s walk downstairs on the B1 floor of Taipei 101 shopping mall. Xiaolongbao is their signature dish there!

Food recommended in Taipei

♦ Fong Sheng Hao：Char-grilled toast, Black milk tea

The signature hearty sandwiches, char-grilled toast slices with tomato, cabbage, potato salad, pork loin, fried eggs, peanut butter, super pie! You’d better get up early, the line at least cost you for an hour, and their signature meals usually will be sold out before 8am!

♦ Jinfenglu Roufan

"Jinfenglu Roufan" is a traditional Taipei restaurant with affordable prices and local snack braised pork rice. It has been standing in Taipei for more than 20 years. There is no gorgeous decoration, only the traces of time.

♦ Wu Liu Skewer Izakaya

Colleague usually will enjoy their Friday night happy hour together in Hu Shiju, Daan District to "Wu Liu Skewer Izakaya", and have the tasty grilled food accompanied by a glass of sake. TGIF!

Fossils Talk

Fossils Talk located in Da’an District, where is filled with cultural and educational atmosphere, rich in humanities, developed commerce, convenient transportation, and universities. 

There are all kinds of natural crystals, minerals, and raw stones in the gallery, from emeralds to malachite, green fisheye to muscovite, they are all minerals and fossils collected by Hantec Group founder, Mr. Tang. 

The gallery has 2 levels. The G/F mainly displays natural crystals, minerals, and pens, while the basement presents relatively large exhibits, such as animal fossils.
